The council was created and made of different companies with the sole purpose of continuously improving our industry. Various areas of the industry make up our members such as foundries, cutlery makers and goldsmiths among others who came together to develop the country’s domestic industry.
The council was created in the 1919 as a part of the “Bronze industrials” of the Argentina Industrial Council. In 1963, its name was changed to “the Council of bronze and gold workers”. The constant addition of new members led to its current name which includes and represents a wide variety of activities where the metals included in the name are the main common denominator.
Throughout its long and prosperous work, the council has been involved not only in matters that are strictly related to its activity but also in those of a higher order that require the joint efforts of the country’s industrial force.
The council’s longevity is due to a constant and selfless work for and by its members where integrity and honesty are its main pillars, thanks to realization and desires, of questions and hardships that when all combined make a bit of the history not only of the council, but of the country itself.
This is a small tribute to all those visionaries who planted the seed of progress and made our present and future with their hard work.
