Safety and Hygiene
CIIBA has entered into a partnership with ETI Studio (owned by B.A. Ernesto Norese) to be able to provide its members with answers on their questions regarding hygiene, labor safety and other labor environmental issues.
Listed below are some of the main areas over which users can get information. These topics,
which are regulated by social entities such as the Labor Ministry’s Office of Environmental Policies (
OEP), Labor Risk Insurance companies, etc. (regulations included in law 19587, executive order 351/79 on
Hygiene and Labor Safety.)

» Province of Buenos Aires’ regulations on:
» Industrial categorization (Law 1145, executive order 1741/96)
» Devices that handle large amounts of pressure (OEP regulation number 231/96 and 129/97)

» Waste disposal management and regulations on special waste (law 11720, executive order 806/97)
